In Friends: The Reunion, we see the cast re-enact some of the show’s most iconic scenes, reunite with guest stars and even admit that they were in love with each other during filming. It’s the first time we’ve seen the six stars together on screen since the last episode in 2004, but to be honest, they’ve all been pretty busy apart from HBO Projects.

Here’s what the Friends cast have been up to since Rachel got off the plane:

1.Jennifer Aniston

After playing the role of shopaholic Rachel Green on Friends for ten years, Jennifer Aniston focused on her film career, enjoying a string of successful drama and comedy series. In 2006, she starred in the romantic comedy The Break-Up opposite Vince Vaughan and in 2008 in the sensational film Marley & Me with Owen Wilson. She made her return to television in 2019, starring alongside Reese Witherspoon – who played her sister in Friends – in the Apple TV+ drama series The Morning Show besides HBO Max appearance.

The film was a hit with critics and earned Aniston, 52, a Screen Actors Guild Award. Meanwhile, Aniston’s personal life continues to attract attention. News of her divorce from ex-husband Brad Pitt in 2005 caused a media frenzy after the actor moved on with Angelina Jolie. Aniston married actor Justin Theroux in 2015, but they split into good terms two years later.

2.Courteney Cox

After various successes in the years after Friends, including roles in the films Zoom and The Longest Yard, Cox found success with the TV comedy Cougar Town, which first aired in 2009.

She plays a recently divorced 40-year-old mother looking for new experiences after a failed marriage. The series ran for six seasons until 2015. Cox will reprise her role as Gale Weathers in the fifth Scream movie, which will be released next year.

The 56-year-old, who was married for 14 years to her Scream co-star David Arquette, with whom she shares a daughter, Coco, has been in a relationship with Snow Patrol member Johnny McDaid since 2013. We hope to see more from her in HBO projects.

3.Lisa Kudrow

Lisa Kudrow played the likable and quirky Phoebe Buffay on Friends. Her first major role after the show was in the HBO series The Comeback, which launched in June 2005 and became something of a cult series.

After ‘Friends’, Kudrow never stayed away from the small screen, playing roles of varying degrees of importance in shows such as ‘Cougar Town’, ‘BoJack Horseman’, ‘Angie Tribeca’, ‘Kimmy Schmidt’ and ‘Scandal’.

Since ‘Friends’, Kudrow has appeared in ‘Bandslam’ (2008), ‘Easy A’ (2010), ‘The Girl On The Train’ (2016), ‘Long Shot’ (2019), and ‘Booksmart’ (2019), as well as playing Mae Martin’s mother in the Channel 4 series ‘Feel Good’.

He made his directorial debut in 2007 in the British comedy Run Fatboy Run, starring Simon Pegg. Schwimmer, 54, won acclaim for his portrayal of Robert Kardashian, OJ Simpson’s lawyer, in the anthology series American Crime Story which we can follow on the streaming platform HBO also.

5.Matthew Perry

After leaving Friends, Perry starred alongside Zac Efron in the 2009 film 17 Again and in Aaron Sorkin’s short-lived series Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip.

Perry made and played in the short sitcom “Mr. Sunshine in 2011. The following year, he played a sportscaster in the NBC comedy Go On. Perry has publicly struggled with drug addiction. In 2013, he received a White House award for opening Perry House, a sober living facility in his former mansion in Malibu, California. Perry will star in the dark comedy Don’t Look Up alongside other actors, including Leonardo DiCaprio, when it is released on Netflix later this year. There is a rumour that we will see him on HBO also wth other projects.

6.Matt LeBlanc

Matt LeBlanc’s character, the womanizer Joey Tribbiani, was given a spin-off at the end of Friends. Joey ran for two seasons but was canceled due to poor ratings. Thanks to the resurrection by HBO company, we saw Matt again. After a five-year hiatus, LeBlanc played herself – albeit in a slightly embellished version – in the comedy series Episodes, for which she won a Golden Globe.
